Attention: Starting with the 2024 season, a truck can win either first or second place in each class. However, it must have different drivers to qualify for both places in the same class.

General Safety Rules

Racing Season Safety Officials have final say in any issues that may be presented prior to race day.

All trucks must have at least a 6 point roll cage built with no less that 1.50 inch diameter tubing with no less that a 0.120 wall thickness, minus street, 4, and 6 cylinder classes where a bed mount roll bar will suffice. [Note: if you plan to bump up past street class you must have a minimum 6 point roll cage]  Must have a fire extinguisher on board  Ignition kill must be within reach of the driver when he or she is strapped in and ready to race. All trucks must have a minimum 5 point SFI approved harness for each occupant in the vehicle All drivers must wear a DOT approved helmet It is preferred for each truck to have a master ON/OFF switch located at the rear of the truck [rear firewall, near batteries, ect.] so safety officials can kill power to the truck in the event of an accident. Neck rolls are recommended  From Small Block Modified up window nets are preferred. Front bumpers must be no wider than center of tires, unless a factory bumper FRONT BUMPERS MUST BE LOOPED (NO SHAPE EDGE BUMPERS) Zero tolerance on drinking if you plan to race MUD FLAPS ARE REQUIRED! Keep it simple, minimum size is 12×12, keep mounts inside frame of truck and must be safe and strong and attached tightly.

Starting Line Rules

All trucks will spin for lane choice.

Trucks will be staged based on first truck to the line.

Trucks must stage within a reasonable time.

Any truck that breaks the staging point greater than one foot will loss that time for their run.

The purpose of the start line is for the drivers to leave at the same time.

On Track Racing Rules

Four wheels off the track is a loss of that race time. Two wheels off the track are ok.

When a driver wrecks in front of you that you can see you must stop and help that driver. In the event you neglect this rule you will be disqualified for that race.

If a vehicle wrecks in front of you in a timed race and the vehicle behind you stops as rules states above the vehicle that stops must not be involved in the wreck and will be given a re-run.

If a vehicle wrecks in front of you in an eliminator race and the vehicle behind you stops as rules states above the vehicle that stops wins the race, but must not be involved in the wreck and must finish the lap crossing the finish line on its own power.

If a driver wrecks behind you continue to race for you time.

If you are stopped by an official or safety official and it causes you to stop racing you will be given another chance at your time

Excessive speeding through the wash out hole will be a loss of time for that race at RRMR.

Track owners and officials have final say on these rule judgments.

We want friendly racing with safety as the number one priority.

Protest Rules

-P&G Cubic Test (Protester must put up $500 in order to have a vehicle P&G Tested)

-Protester $500 will be rewarded to the vehicle being protested if it meets the class requirements. If the protested vehicle does not meet the requirement of the class then the $500 will be given back to the protester.
